Following the previous editions of the traditional Pitching Day, the Ticino Film Commission has opted this year for a new format: Networking in the Green, bringing audiovisual professionals and creatives into the heart of Ticino’s natural landscapes. The first edition took place in Cardada, which on Monday, August 11, provided the perfect setting for a day dedicated to dialogue, connections, and the promotion of the region.
Organised by the Ticino Film Commission in collaboration with Locarno Pro, the Organizzazione turistica Lago Maggiore e Valli, and Ticino Turismo, Networking in the Green brought together local and international professionals in an informal yet idea-rich environment. Among the highlights was the presentation by Ivan Madeo, producer at Contrast Film, who shared a case study on the TV series Davos 1917, offering valuable insights to participants.
The event provided space for presentations, convivial moments, and spontaneous exchanges, all set against a landscape that inspired and encouraged fresh perspectives. It was an opportunity not only to strengthen existing relationships and forge new ones, but also to discover and experience a corner of Ticino that combines nature, culture, and hospitality.
The Ticino Film Commission extends its thanks to all participants, partners, and to Ristorante Casa Colmanicchio for the warm hospitality that helped make this first edition an experience to remember—and to repeat in the future.
