“The Physicists”, from stage to screen
Filming recently ended on the audiovisual adaptation of the play written by Ticino-based director Agnese Làposi
From the stage to the screen. Ticino director Agnese Làposi - winner of the first competition for the audiovisual adaptation of plays into Italian promoted by the Association "De la scène à l'écran" - is producing the film version of Friedrich Dürrenmatt's play "The Physicists," staged at the LAC and Sociale in November by Igor Horvat.
Filming of this REC production, supported by the Ticino Film Commission, took place over recent weeks in the picturesque setting of Villa Heleneum overlooking Lake Ceresio, at the LAC, on a boat of the Lake Lugano Navigation Company and at the Teatro Sociale in Bellinzona.
