We are pleased to be able to announce the start of production of 'ALTER EGO', the first national TV series filmed entirely in Ticino.
This is a crime thriller set during Carnival period, a characteristic festival in the place where it is set: Bellinzona. A series in 6 episodes of 45 minutes each, it features numerous twists and turns, chilling murders and puzzling investigations. The film, which will be broadcast throughout Switzerland, will be in Italian, but will also be dubbed in German and French.
The direction is entrusted to Erik Bernasconi, known to Ticino audiences for his films Moka Noir (2019), Fuori Mira (2014), Sinestesia (2010), and to the Grisons-born Robert Ralston, author of the TV movie Il demolitore di camper (2021). The screenplay was also written by Erik Bernasconi, along with Claudia Bellana, Carlotta Balestrieri and Andrea Valeri.
