SYNOPSIS

Don Simone is a frontier priest, with a church that is always in trouble and never frequented by young people who prefer, rather, the "togetherness" of social networks. Finally, Don Simone receives fantastic news: an eccentric uncle has bequeathed him a very successful business in Switzerland that will raise the economic fortunes of his always deserted oratory! But once in Lugano, our priest discovers that he has inherited... a brothel!

For a Florentine, Lugano is a place that only lacks carpeting. On set, I was attracted to the fact that there was an attendant changing the flowers trampled during the celebrations for Italy's victory at the European Championships. The fantastic clichés a Florentine might have about Lugano are all there. And then there is this calmness of the lake that is typical of all lakeside cities and that causes you an exceptional relaxation. We're looking for the sun for these shoots and even when it's not there, we look at the lake and dilute ourselves, or make a virtue of necessity. And since this is a film that deals with deep doubts, certain calmness can also help us from this point of view.
