Dino Hodic’s No One Will Hurt You continues its festival tour. Following its debut at the Sarajevo Film Festival and the Trieste Film Festival, and after winning the Visioni Award last January at the latest edition of the Solothurn Film Festival, the documentary – produced by Fiumi Film in co-production with RSI and also supported by the Ticino Film Commission – has been selected for the “Panorama Suisse” programme at the Locarno Film Festival.
The director, who grew up in Switzerland after his family fled the war that ravaged the Balkans, has embarked on a journey that, thirty years later, takes him back to the places of his childhood in Bosnia and Serbia, to come to terms with his own identity and the roots of the conflict through his encounter with a survivor of the Srebrenica massacre.
No One Will Hurt You is scheduled for Thursday 6 August at 11.00 am at Palexpo (Fevi).
