On 9 August 2021, as part of the 74. Locarno Film Festival, the Ticino Film Commission in collaboration with Locarno Pro organized a pitching event for film professionals attending the Festival with the aim of promoting the search for co-productions, distribution, and financing of film projects that could have a development in the region. Five the production companies that presented a project:

The event was accompanied by a guided tour of two suggestive Ticino locations, the Brissago Islands and the Teatro Dimitri in Verescio (, allowing participants to discover the territory as well as to create further moments of exchange and discussion.
