Two Ticino villages, once abandoned, have been restored to their former charm through reconstruction efforts.
Bordei is now an agricultural community with ten houses owned by a foundation. The village has cobblestone streets, beautiful fountains, and lots of greenery.
Terra Vecchia is an old village that you can reach only on foot or by a simple cable car. It is surrounded by woods and meadows, with the majestic Ghiridone mountain in the background, offering a wide and lush green landscape.
