Steam train - Monte Generoso

An unforgettable nostalgic journey on board a Belle Époque style wagon is the unmissable proposal of the Ferrovia Monte Generoso. During the summer, in June, July and August, it is possible to reach the summit of Monte Generoso with the steam train and its 1890 locomotive, one of the oldest still in operation in Switzerland, and enjoy the surrounding nature, which always offers different spectacles.

The departure is from the Capolago-Riva San Vitale station and the journey by steam train takes about 1h30/2h.
