MUSEC Museo delle culture

Located on Lugano's lakefront in the historic Villa Malpensata, the MUSEC offers temporary exhibitions that invite us to question the continuous transformations of our society through the anthropological interpretation of works of art.

The MUSEC houses masterpieces of south seas art donated to the city of Lugano by Swiss artist Serge Brignoni.

Over the years, the museum has significantly expanded its collections and activities and has become a point of reference in the field of ethnic, oriental, folk and applied arts from all continents.
