At Alpe Foppa - Monte Tamaro there is the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, designed by the world-famous architect Mario Botta. The church is dedicated to Santa Maria degli Angeli, built between 1992 and 1996, and has an innovative character in the design as a building of devotion. Made of porphyry, it stands on the edge of a slope opening onto an amazing panorama. The paintings by Enzo Cucchi occupy two main areas - the vault of the footbridge, where there is a tall cypress tree, and the very heart of the church.
In addition to the visit to the church you can walk along the cultural trail where you can admire:
There's not only art and culture on Monte Tamaro but also leisure activities immersed in nature such as paragliding, hiking or mountain biking, the adventure park, the coaster bob and the zip line.
