The Bolle di Magadino is a wide territory made up of marshy areas and small ponds, connected by stretches of stream (partly navigable by small boats). Biotopes, reeds, open spaces and hidden views. There are a number of wooden ornithological observation towers. Due to the important naturalistic importance (the "Bolle" are considered a cantonal nature reserve and are home to a large number of animal and plant species also at risk of extinction) any action and activity in this area must be carried out with great care and caution. Particularly under exceptional lighting conditions (for example at dawn, at sunset or in fog) they turn into incredible landscapes.
