The chestnut woods in Robasacco

The Robasacco forest is considered one of the most interesting and valuable in the Canton. The large trees, planted neatly, give the area a majestic appearance. After years of partial abandonment, the forest has been redeveloped. The characteristic bridges along the path that runs through the area have also been renovated. From this area you can enjoy a spectacular view of the plain below. The area is particularly scenic during autumn, when the warm colours of the leaves create spectacular plays of light.
