The area of the Park develops along the Breggia River which, over millions of years, has carved deep gorges, and that today represent one of the most important geological sites south of the Alps. At the centre of the Park is the industrial archaeology site with the kiln tower of the former cement factory: a four-storey reinforced concrete building, connected by a work lift and a long iron staircase, painted red, which occupies the free space left by the removal of one of the kilns. The interior spaces are illuminated but not heated and despite the presence of some inconspicuous information panels, the large surfaces have maintained their original appearance.
