A retired teacher accidentally receives four million francs in his bank account. Two gangster and an unlikely detective set out on his trail.
Elvezio Zoppi, a former teacher overwhelmed by phobias, realises that four million francs have been mistakenly deposited into his account. Instead of notifying the bank, he takes an unexpected decision: he withdraws the money and flees on his moped. On his trail - in addition of two gangsters - is Livio Bronner, a fun-loving and unlikely detective. At the end of a rocambolic journey their lives, marked by a misfortunate fate, will finally collide on a solitary winter beach by the Adriatic Sea.
Filming, which was supported by the Ticino Film Commission, lasted for four weeks on the road between northern and southern Ticino, mainly in the Lugano and Mendrisiotto areas. The film was then also shot for a week in Italy on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, in the picturesque natural parks near Ravenna.
